The EPSILON IOTA Chapter was chartered on April 23, 1941. The charter members were F.R. Rice, William Martin, Elmar Johns, Tony Miller, James Mosley Jr., R.C. Walker, J.B. Echols, Reginald Threadgill. Also one of our Fraternity's founders, Bishop Edgar Amos Love, was an honorary charter member.
Under its auspices the EPSILON IOTA Chapter established the Epsilon Iota Foundation in May 1993. The Epsilon Iota Foundation is a non profit 501c3 organization that promotes cultural, social, academic, and civic life in the Austin Community.
